About me
Currently, I am a visitor research fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence (PAIR) where I explore the implications of epistemic opacity embedded in protein language models for scientific practice.
I am also a research fellow on the project Smart Watersheds where I coordinate the construction of a panel of specialists in water management and monitoring to conduct qualitative interviews aiming to better understand the potential use of AI tools to improve water security in the State of São Paulo.
Research interests: Epistemology and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy of information, Philosophy of Science and Technology, Semiotics, Algorithmic Opacity, Values in Science, Philosophy of Proteins and Cells, Abduction, Friendship.
