I’m a researcher in Philosophy of Information, Science and Technology. My primary focus is on the epistemological and ethical consequences of the increasing automation of scientific practice enabled by the development of machine and deep learning algorithms. Emphasis is given to the study of strategies to overcome algorithmic opacity in data intensive sciences, in special, bioinformatics. Other interests involve the concept of information, abduction, serendipity, friendship; semiotics; interdisciplinarity.
